Beginning for the 2025-2026 school year, HCS students in grades K-12 are not permitted to display or use a cell phone, smartwatch, or other electronic communication device on school property during the school day.

New Hope Excellence

NHE is an incredible place to be! We have amazing students, dedicated staff members, and a supportive community. We all hold ourselves and one another to high standards in all that we do. We believe in enhancing the student experience and strive to integrate the arts often to reach more students. We prioritize and celebrate learning and student growth. 

CCRPI Data

On the most recent School Climate Star Rating, New Hope received a 4.75, the highest rating received by any elementary school in Henry County. New Hope is the only Henry County elementary school to outperform the state in all four categories: content mastery, readiness, progress, and closing gaps. We also made progress in every area from the previous year. These results reflect the impact of our entire team, which consistently holds high expectations for each other and each student in our building. Our belief in children, strong desire to create meaningful learning opportunities, and an intense focus on instruction continue to lead to amazing student outcomes. Thank you so much for your support! 

In the 2025/2026 school year, our Jr. Beta Club made history by participating in the Beta National Convention for the second year in a row. Our Performing Arts Large Group placed 2nd at this year's State and National Conventions. New Hope students placed in the Digital Art, Woodworking, Solo Instrumentalist, and Robotics competitions at the state level, and many of these students joined the performance team at the national convention. We are so proud of their accomplishments and how hard they have worked!

 We offer all students an opportunity to join a club of their choice once a month during the school day. We also have a variety of extracurricular opportunities, such as Honor Chorus, Band, Robotics, Beta Club, Super Girls Club, Noble Knights, Picture Book Bowl, Reading Bowl, Drama, Arts Club, and Math Team. 

Join us on September 22nd, 2026 for the Arts Integration and Multi-Cultural Expo, where we’ll showcase how the arts inspire creativity and learning in our students. This event is open to all, and we’re excited to welcome our district personnel, parents, and community to celebrate the power of the arts in education. Don’t miss it!

Our Spring 2026 STEAM Day was a huge success, celebrating student innovation and creativity around the theme of "Blast Off!" Students explored the connections between space and STEAM through hands-on activities, experiments, and challenges, showcasing their ability to reach for the stars. Please join us for our upcoming Fall STEAM Day on Friday, November 6th! 

 

New Hope Elementary is fortunate to have a supportive community, and we are looking forward to our annual Fall Festival on October 16th as a fun opportunity to connect with our students and families. Thank you to our dedicated PTO, families, and community partners who continue to make this yearly event possible.
