Mrs. Sorrows
My name is Emily Sorrows, and I love being a part of the NHE family! I have been a part of the NHE family since 2019. I LOVE teaching 4th grade! I started teaching in 2017 after I graduated from Kansas State University. I grew up in Locust Grove, and graduated from LGHS in 2012. After graduation, I attended Gordon State College and received my Associates Degree while playing on a softball scholarship. In 2013, my husband and I got married. Due to him being in the military, we moved to Fort Riley, Kansas in the summer of 2014. We lived there for 3 years and absolutely loved it! Within those 3 years, we started our family in 2015 when our daughter Rylee was born, and I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Kansas State University in 2017. In addition to our daughter, we also have a 3-year-old son named Cooper! I look forward to working with you and your students this year!
